THROUGH THE SAYABOURY ELEPHANT CAMP TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER
Day 1: Luang Prabang – Sayaboury (L, D)
From the hotel in Luang Prabang, meet your guide and driver for the road transfer to Sayaboury.
After three hours, arrive at Nam Tien Lake and take a boat trip to get to the Elephant Conservation Center (ECC). After the check in procedures, enjoy lunch at the place.
Spend some time to rest in the in the private bungalow then take the opportunity to stroll in the nearby forest with the giant friends and their mahouts. Feel the amazing friendship between the elephants and the mahouts.
Return to the center to visit the hospital for elephants to learn more about their natural illness and how they are treated.
Enjoy a local dinner and spend the night at the Elephant Conservation Center.
Day 2: Sayaboury elephant camp (B, L, D)
Enjoy breakfast and meet with the elephants again in the forest. Enjoy more time being together with these giants in their natural wilderness. Visit the elephants Socialization Area which is specially designed so that they can freely interact for the rest of the day.
After enjoying lunch, meet with a vet from the center to learn and understand more about these animals and the meaningful works at the center.
Spend the second night in the Elephant Conservation Center.
Day 3: Sayaboury – Luang Prabang (B, L)
Enjoy the final day’s breakfast with the lake view.
After breakfast, the center biologist will explain the elephant enrichment activities. During the enriching activities, be amazed by their ability in finding hidden items and food or toys.
Enjoy lunch in the restaurant; take some time to relax before waving goodbye to the Elephant Conservation Center. Transfer back to Luang Prabang or to your next destination.
