Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, the busiest city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will be waiting by the Exit. They will provide transport to your hotel for check in.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Overnight on river cruise (B, L, D)
After a good night sleep, leave Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling streets behind and head south bound to the Mekong delta town of Cai Be.
Reach Cai Be at around noon and there the captain and crews of the cruise will warmly welcome you onboard with a refreshing welcome drink, followed by an orientation introduction and functional areas onboard. Enjoy the tasty lunch on the upper deck while the boat departs for Cho Lach town flowing the mighty Tien Giang river. Rest on the breezy deck while the ship passing through the endless convoy of transportation barges loaded with tons of fruit, rice husk or black sand.
For an up-close experience with life in the Delta, visit a riverside village and explore a fruit farm and rice paddy fields abound.
Welcome back on board the Bassac! Refreshen up with complimentary drink while enjoying the sunset scene over the magical Mekong Delta.
Dinner will be served whilst the Bassac cruises the Mang Thit river towards the peaceful anchorage of Tra On for the destination of the night.

Day 3 : Cai Rang – Can Tho (B, L)
Rise up early at 6.30 AM to enjoy tasty breakfast on board in style while your vessel cruises from Tra On to Can Tho. Check out of the boat and transfer to a small tender boat to explore the Cai Rang floating market where most seen selling items are fruit and vegetables. Traditionally, in the floating markets in the region all the boats have an upright bamboo pole hung with whatever the boat offers for sale. Depending on the season there will be more mango, bananas, papaya, or pineapple are on display. Don’t be surprise to be offered by a floating Pho or floating coffee parlors.
This afternoon after lunch, take a biking trip along the quiet roads and riverside paths of Can Tho to discover for more of the riverside lifestyle in the hub city of the Mekong Delta. After a big adventure day, transfer to a small hotel in Can Tho to check-in for good rest.
Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4 : Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Enjoy the whole morning free at leisure or step out and explore Can Tho independently.
Journey back to Ho Chi Minh City takes around 4 hours.
