THROUGH KY SON COUNTRYSIDE EXPERIENCE TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER
Day 1: Hanoi – Ky Son – Duong Lam village (L, D)
Depart from Hanoi in the morning, drive for 1.5 hour through the countryside to the west and arrive Ky Son village, a tranquil destination nestles in the greenery fertile valley.
After the greeting and welcome drink from the staff, go for a stroll to have the first hand glimpse of the beautiful landscape and unique structures that make the property charming place. Enjoy some more green tea before commencing on a kitchen works for the unique cooking class learning how to make some Vietnamese dishes which are delicacies to this region. After observing from the owner, put your hands into practice and enjoy the creations for a tasty lunch!
In the afternoon, after some rest, take the advantage of the scenic country road cycling on bicycle from Ky Son across the green fields along crop farms of rice field and vegetable vines which make Ky Son village a truly picturesque place. Arrive in the village of Duong Lam home to hundreds of old houses, some of those were built almost 400 hundreds of years ago. Stop to visit one ancient house, chat with the owner to understand about how their life has changed the last decades in this village. Continue the journey to Mia Pagoda, home to a great collection of 287 Buddhist statues of all sizes. At Mong Phu communal house, see the masterpiece wooden structure. Exit the village toward the other side, cycle through the narrow paths flanked by old laterite houses to two temples dedicating to Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung, the two national heroes of Vietnam.
Return back to the lodge and wrap your day trying a local tisane for a traditional herbal steam bath. Following, enjoy a lavish dinner at the lodge.

Cycling distance : 6 to 15 km on flat route.
Day 2: Ky Son – Hanoi (B, L)
Early in the morning, join in traditional exercises and observe Vietnamese traditional rite worshiping ancestors with flowers and incense sticks.
Enjoy breakfast and take free time enjoying stunning surrounding landscapes. Set off and wander around the village, interact with local people and chat about their daily farming works. Help to tend the farm collect tea or corn. Return to Hanoi ether in the morning or early afternoon.
Notes: the biking tour 1st day to Duong Lam can be swapped to the 2nd morning, especially during summer months May – August as the afternoon temperature is always hotter.
