THROUGH HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER
Today you will have a full day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. First, drive to Cholon which literally means the Big Market, the Chinatown district to discover the area’s markets, shops and the Chinese Cantonese Pagoda – built to dedicate worshiping the Goddess of the Sea. Visit FITO museum, Vietnam’s first traditional medicine museum with a comprehensive collection of 3,000 medicine related items of the traditional Vietnamese medicine.
Visit Ben Thanh market to see abundant amount of fresh produce on displaying. Stroll through the market shops exploring the variety of items from dry squits to Rayban sunglases displayed for sale.
After lunch break, visit the Reunification Palace or former name the Presidential Palace where a tank from the North Vietnamese army crashed down its iron gate to end the Vietnam War, next visit the War Remnants Museum to see a display of the most tragic war images and a wide range of weapons used in the past war. Stroll to Ho Chi Minh City’s major colonial sights including of the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly French name was Rue Catinat), the city Grand Opera House and City Hall at the end.
