THROUGH THE THAILAND FAMILY ADVENTURE TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER

Day 1: Arrive Bangkok

Welcome to metropolis Bangkok. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The check in time is at 14:00 and early check in is dependent on availability at time and with a surcharge.

After having a rest, take a walk through the old China town then followed by a welcome dinner in one of the fine restaurants in town.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok city tour (B, L)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and start your Bangkok discovery. Take a river journey, cruise on the Chao Phraya River to Wat Pho and Reclining Buddha pagoda. The Buddha statue is 40 meters in length and is lacquered with gold leaf. After that, enjoy a tasty lunch.

Continue to the Grand Palace and then Wat Phra Kaew with the revered Emerald Buddha. The two places were incredibly built with art and architecture reflecting Thai’s strong reverence for their Buddhist faith and their King. Dinner will be served in a fine restaurant.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok – Fly to Chiang Mai (B)

Enjoy the free morning before check out and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Chiang Mai, considered as the “Center of the North”. Transfer to the hotel in Chiang Mai and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 4: Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon national park (B, L)

Today is great opportunity for family to discover the nature with fascinating forest, waterfalls in the National Park of Doi Inthanon and to visit and taking photos. The national park showcases the rich tropical biology system.

Take an opportunity visiting an ethnic minority village of Karen and learn about their traditional way of life which has changed very little over the decades. Trek on the paths winding through forest to a waterfall of 65 m high for some family photos.

After the waterfall, join in a Thai cooking course to learn how prepare Thai’s traditional dishes. After the cooking, enjoy the taste of the delicious Thai food you have cooked!

Day 5: Chiang Mai – Patara elephant camp (B, L)

Today will be a fascinating day visiting Patara Elephant Farm! On arrival, be introduced to be the mahout who will show you how to communicate, and take care of the elephant. After having the fundamental skill of communicating and riding, spend time to feed these giant friends. Enjoy the fun time riding them across the green field to a spectacular waterfall. Enjoy picnic lunch at the waterfall.

Wave goodbye to the elephants at Patara Elephant Farm and return to Chiang Mai. On the way, have dinner in a Thai restaurant. In the evening, follow the guide’s lead for a stroll of Chiang Mai to discover the colorful market with exotic sights and sounds.

Day 6: Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep – Gibbon flight (B)

In early morning, set off from the hotel for transfer to Ton Payom Market, buy some steamed rice and daily vegetarian food items for the upcoming alms giving ceremony. Head to a nearby pagoda and offer these alms to the monks as they walk pass during the ceremony. Attending the ceremony and offer the alms to the monks will be great life honor to receive blessing from saffron yellow robe monks. After that, visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, considered as one of the most sacred Buddhist sites of Thailand and a very revered Buddhist site in the world.

After some great family photos on the top of the hill with Chiang Mai panoramic view, drive to the Flight of the Gibbon for more fun, thrilling experience flying down with zipline hung from the forest canopy. The thrilling experience of flying in the air above the forest will go along with your kids for long.

Take the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 7: Chiang Mai (B, L)

Spend the day at Chiang Mai’s magical Sri Lanna National Park. Head toward Bua Tong for a spectacular limestone waterfall, then move to Mae Ngat Dam for opportunity to row kayak in the lake.

After lunch in a bamboo floating house, take more time in the afternoon to explore the park, do some more kayaking or swimming.

In the late afternoon, attend in a chanting ceremony at a local pagoda. The dinner will be served at local restaurant. After the dinner, take a stroll with the guide through Warorot night market to sample some tasty Thai sweets.

Day 8: Chiang Mai – Fly to Phuket – Koh Yao Yai (B)

Enjoy breakfast and take a flight to Phuket.

Phang Nga Bay is a world famous destination for its emerald waters and the pristine natural beauty of the bay with the limestone formations that jutting out the water. Here, enjoy many activities to discover the bay from having a discovery tour of bay on a long tail boat to spending some time kayaking into mangrove forests, lagoons or and limestone formations. Savor for a lunch at pristine island.
Dinner and overnight Koh Yao Yai.

Kayaking time: 30 – 45 minutes

Day 9: Koh Yao Yai (B)

In the morning, take time to visit Hong Marine National Park to enjoy plenty of underwater activities, all are exciting for every member. Swim to see the colorful fish and corals. Enjoy the warm water or sunbathe on the quiet beach.

After lunch, from Hong Marine National Park, return to the hotel for the afternoon free at leisure.

Tonight, after the lavish dinner, attend in the Krathong ceremony and all family members will light a candle, place it on a banana leaf and float it on the water for good lucks.

Overnight on Koh Yao Yai.

Snorkeling time: 1h30

Day 10: Koh Yao Yai – Phuket – Fly to Bangkok – Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast and be transferred on a boat back to Phuket. You will take flight to Bangkok then connect international flight back to your country.
