THROUGH MUONG HOA VALLEY TREK, YOU WILL DISCOVER

 

Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai (L, D)

Be picked up by your guide and walk down westward toward Cat Cat village. Explore Sapa’s less-visited areas in picturesque valleys surrounding Linh Ho village. Trek follow in a gently winding path through emerald paddy terraces before arriving at Muong Hoa river bank where you can rest your feet in the river while watching local children catching fish. After refreshment, journey deeper through the villages and rice terraces of the Black H’mong people. Take time and capture for some of the best photos of Sapa rice fields.

At a local restaurant by the river, enjoy lunch with a stunning mountain view all around before continuing through the valley towards the village of Lao Chai. Refreshing up with a cup of tea before learning the art of Batik painting, the Black H’mong’s unique painting has been well known around the world. With the assistant of your expert guide and guidance of the host, learn how to print batik for a hands-on class.

Afterwards, you will be welcomed by Mr. Lu and his family into his home for spending the night. Enjoy the time of the late afternoon in rustic ambiance while watching the sun sets over the mountain ridges in distance before sitting down around the opened fire and see how the food is cooked. Learn all about H’mong life and culture with your amazing hosts before enjoying a delicious dinner in H’mong style with some sips of rice wine.

Day 2 : Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (B, L)

Wake up early to enjoy the magnificent view of the sun rising over the terraces and valley. After a tasty homestay breakfast, wave farewell to Mr. Lu and his family before journeying further southward the valley. After 2 hour light trek being picked up and transferred back to Sapa town.
