THROUGH EXPLORE PHONG NHA CAVE TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER

Day 1: Dong Hoi – Phong Nha (L)

Arrive in Dong Hoi city, your guide and driver will meet and greet you then take a road transfer to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. The region has been notified by UNESCO one of the world’s two largest limestone parks which houses the National Park. With over 100 km of caves, underground rivers and grottoes which were formed more than 400 million years ago, Phong Nha Ke Bang makes it famous and one of the most outstanding limestone karst ecosystems on Earth.

Arrive at the destination and start exploring the area on a half-day biking adventure trip through the peaceful countryside of Bong Lai village. Enjoy a local lunch on the way and swap to the boat for a scenic boat ride on the Son River to explore the ancient cave of Phong Nha. The boat will glides slowly into the cave’s entrance, once inside, the cave looks like the tunnels filled with mystical stalactites and giant stalagmites shadowing into crystal clear waters of underground river.

NOTE: The cycling distance can be adjustable between 8-20 kilometers.

Day 2: Phong Nha national park (B, L)

Enjoy a tasty breakfast and leave the hotel for an early start. Visit the Rice Wine Cave then embark on a morning walk through the peaceful village to see daily life activities in the picturesque rural countryside. The Wine Cave has war stories and historic significance importance where the North Vietnamese Army distills rice wine and local people in the region hiding inside as bomb shelters during the bomb raids from the US on Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Transfer shortly to the Paradise Cave for a local lunch. Explore the region’s most famous Paradise Cave. Conquering the 400 steps to enter the entrance of the cave and walk on a wooden walkway for 1 km winding through hundreds of impressive stalagmites and stalactites.

Day 3: Phong Nha – Dong Hoi – Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast in Lake House, spend some time at leisure then drive back to Dong Hoi Airport or Dong Hoi train station. From here, alternatively your journey can be continued to the South discover Hue, the former royal city.
