THROUGH TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER
Today will be a great day excursion, out in a local farming community outside of Hoi An. Enjoy a short scenic bike ride along village roads, cycle leisurely on small paths between the paddy green fields. After 30 minute bike ride, arrive at Tra Que village where local villagers in the community has worked together and created perhaps the largest vegetable farm in the area. Their products are sold in most of the hotels and restaurants in Hoi An. Stroll around the farm to see the different vegetables such spring onion, shallot, coriander, lettuce and mint, that all are grown organically! Learn how the local farmers planting, watering and harvesting the crop using their traditional methods, then try your hand at harrowing the ground, raking the soil and sowing seeds. After an up close gardening experience, reward yourself with an herbal foot bath and massage. Roll up your sleeves and join in with mini cooking demonstration making some local dishes followed by a tasty lunch featuring the freshest vegetables picked from the farm out there. From the farm to the plate freshness!
