Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
Upon your arrival at Hanoi International airport, you will be welcomed and transferred by luxury car to the hotel in Hanoi city centre.
Fast track service will be arranged for your quick custom check-in.
Dinner at one of best restaurants in Hanoi: the Blue Butterfly restaurant (Vietnamese set menu).

Day 2: Hanoi – Private water puppet show – Hanoi half city tour (B, L)
After tasty breakfast, get picked up from the hotel by your guide and ride through the suburbs of Hanoi. Begin the tour with a visit to the local market to see strange and fascinating goods displaying or sale, fresh fruit, vegetables and local produce – Chau Long market which is still undiscovered by many tourists. Continue to immerse yourself in the culture of the North Vietnam in this authentic village, sip a cup of coffee for a short break nearby a beautiful pagoda, where monks are chanting in wooden gong rhythm – Trich Sai pagoda.
Continue on car to meet Mr. Phan Thanh Liem and visit his great work. His family lives in a deep zigzag alleyway of Hanoi and after a warm welcome with tea and traditional candy, open the workshop’s door to be amazed seeing the great collection of traditional water puppets. Explore the workshop, the floor jammed with wooden puppet parts such as dragon heads and puppets in all shapes, sizes and colors. Listen to Mr. Liem about his traditional family handicraft handed down from seven generations earlier.
Enjoy an intimate 30-minute performance with ancient story and modern themes about Vietnamese life in Mr. Liem’s home stage which is on the top roof floor of his house, a sky water puppet experience. After the play, roll up your sleeves and put hand in practice controlling a dragon puppet to get insights of the traditional artful crafts that makes this art form so unique. This is really second to none of the same type.
Lunch will be served in a good restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, begin your day visiting Hanoi’s highlights with a visit to the Temple of Literature, built in 1076 under Ly Dynasty to worship Confucius Scholar then converted into the first university of Vietnam for nearly 700 years. The Temple of Literature was the place to educate the royal sons and elites. Visiting this to gain a fascinating glimpse of this incredible 700 year university reflecting Vietnam’s past glory.
Next, discover the picturesque Ngoc Son temple hiding on a tiny green island of Hoan Kiem Lake. With your guide’s narration, find out why its name derived from a legend when the emperor of Vietnam returned a magic sword to a giant turtle!
Following, show how much you understand your other half by following the Maze of love: Starting from the same point, each of you will head away, go on different routes and meet each other at the given point after an hour. On the way, look for a small present that you believe your other half likes.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay – Overnight on board (B, L, D)
9:15 You will be greeted at your hotel to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal, Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City (arrive about 11:30). You will travel on the longest bridge in Southeast Asia and be greeted at our lounge before boarding.
12:15 Board the Heritage Cruises boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.
12:40 Cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit.
15:00 The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao or Three Peach beaches in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Guests can try kayaking or simply swim in the clear waters of the bay.
17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Activities include afternoon tea and wine tasting, and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.
19:30 A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting.
21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. The bars are open until late.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Hoi An (B, L)
6:00 Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast. Then take the bamboo boats to explore the Dark and Bright Cave.
9:30 Return to the ship for checkout.
10:00 Enjoy brunch while cruising back to harbour.
11:35 Return to Got Harbour and relax at our lounge while your transportation arrives.
12:10 Departure to Hanoi by our Limousine service.
You will be directly transferred to Hanoi airport to take flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be welcome & transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.
Take the welcome drink and enjoy a tranquil evening at your hotel.

Day 5: Hoi An half day city tour (B, L)
In the morning, you will have a half day city tour of Hoi An.
Stroll the breezy Hoi An UNESCO heritage site, the town once originated from a sleepy fishing village turned into a busy trading port in Asia that welcomed international merchant boats of the Dutch, Japanese Chinese, French, Portuguese during the late 16th to the 18th Centuries, now is one of most charming coastal towns of Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The great conserving work here makes Hoi An home to a great architectural collection the country’s most beautiful traditional architecture blending with the Chinese, Japanese, French and Portuguese elements.
Start your walking tour through the streets lined along with yellow houses of home silk tailors and Orient art galleries, visit Chua Ong Pagoda the Chinese ornate structure was built from 1653. On the same street, stroll to the nearby Phuc Kien temple, the Assembly Hall of Fujkian originated merchants, one of the most important meetings cum worshipping hall of the Chinese merchants in the old days.
Visiting the 200-year old Tan Ky House will give you a glimpse of how the generation of its owners have lived. At the Japanese Covered Bridge – one of Hoi An’s most iconic landmarks, take some postcard photos before hearing from your expert guide the story about how and why the bridge was built and name Japanese Bridge. Visit the Reaching Out Tea House – an NGO establishment supporting locals with disabilities – enjoy a cup of tea before having a tasty lunch in fascinating Hoi An by the Thu Bon river.
Then you will be transferred back to your hotel and have a free afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Hoi An – Cooking class at Tra Que village (B, L)
At 8:00 AM: Our Guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby and start the tour.
We will ride bicycle to Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. So make sure your camera is handy.
We continue to cycle to Tra Que vegetable village where we will have a cooking class
At Tra Que, we will have a welcome drink for rest. Then, we walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields, using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, no electrical machinery here.
You will relax with Foot herbal massage.
After foot massage, it’s time to cook lunch. We will go to the restaurant & work together with the chef. With the instructions of the chef, we will learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food.
After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
Then you will be transferred back to your hotel and have a free afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Danang – Fly to Nha Trang (B)
Today you will be transferred to Danang airport to take flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide & transferred to the hotel by limousine car.
Take the welcome drink and enjoy the daily spa at your hotel for a well-deserved relax.

Day 8: Nha Trang (B)
Free day at leisure in Nha Trang.

Day 9: Nha Trang (B, D)
Free day in Nha Trang. In the evening, a romantic and private dining place at the beach will be prepared with flowers, candles just for two of you. Perhaps today on this long sickle shaped white sand beach you are the only dining in the candle light!

Day 10: Nha Trang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City – Half day tour & A O Show (B, L, D)
Today you will be transferred to Cam Ranh airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide & transferred to the hotel by limousine car.
Drop your things in your hotel and then start the day exploring the Metropolis Saigon. First, visit the city’s Central Post Office which is unique for its roofing structure, next door to the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral. Your tour continues with a stop at the Reunification Palace, where a North Vietnamese Army’s tank crashed down the iron gate in 1975 to end a war, the Viet Nam war that killed about 58,000 Americans and estimated several millions Vietnamese.
Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street – the area was feature in the Quite American novel – to the municipal Saigon Opera House.
Lunch will be served at Cuc Gach restaurant, a famous Vietnamese restaurant in Saigon.
In the evening, enjoy a spectacular A O Show in the Saigon Opera House. This performance is a contemporary showcase of Vietnamese culture.
After the show, walk along the main Boulevards Saigon to local Restaurant for dinner, the lovely place locales in hustle and bustle of District 1, the heart if Ho Chi Minh city

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 8am and drive to the township of Cai Be to board the Mekong Queen, a traditionally built riverboat made from native bamboo and timberand rattan. In the old days during Vietnam’s French colony period, these boats were essential means of transport in Mekong River and poor road areas. And even nowadays, they still remain a handy means of reaching the Mekong delta’s isolated island communities.
At 10 am, be welcomed by the crews on board your Cai Be Princess at the Cai Be jetty, you will be served with cold towels following with a refreshing drink while your Mekong Queen sets off for its leisurely cruise on the busy waterways where local boat traffic is endless and the transportation activity never ceases. See local life plays out along the riverside with green landscapes while enjoying some more tea and fresh fruit from your attentive crews. As your boat glides through Cai Be Floating Market where you will see house cum boats from around regions sell their agricultural products. After the market, your boat will stops more on the way to provide glimpses of the region local industries by visiting the families cottage workshops making rice wine, rice paper and coconut candy and various other products that provide a living for the riverside residence. Lunch will be served in Le Longanier restaurant in the middle of a fruitful garden on the island. After that take a short ride across the mighty Mekong River to Vinh Long city where your private transfer is await for you and drive you back to Ho Chi Minh City in late afternoon.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Today you will be transferred to the airport to take international flight back to your home country.
