THROUGH THE BANTEAY SREI HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE TOUR, YOU WILL DISCOVER
Day 1: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei (L, D)
Depart from appointed hotel and head to the rural countryside village near Bantey Srei. On reaching the village, meet, greet and interact with local villagers there to learn all about the cultural tradition of the Bantey Srei region.
On the way through Pradak village, stop to try some Khmer Noodles or Ka Tien. At Preah Dak, taste another traditional dish called Nam Ben and then visit a bustling local market.
Before lunch, visit a Landmine Museum. Founded by Mr. Aki Ra a de-miner, the local museum displays all kinds of mines which have been deactivated since the end of the war. Also the museum functions as a rescue center helping landmine amputee children whom Aki Ra has lifted off Phnom Penh or from poor families in the rural communities.

Take a short refreshing and then enjoy an ox cart riding through the stunning rural villages, from your cart, watch all the seasonal farm works available at time of the tour. Local activities will be varied due to the season changed. Today’s dinner will cooked by your friendly hosts.

Day 2: Banteay Srei – Siem Reap (B, L)
Early in the morning, enjoy the homestay breakfast and leave early for Banteay Srei destination to avoid crowds. Banteay Srei is a charming temple, known as the “gem” of Angkor period. This temple is also known as “Citadel of the Women” as the material used to build is pink sandstone and is found nowhere else in Cambodia’s other temples.
Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon.
